OVERVIEW
The typical 42 day program
The youth arrive on a given date- They are outfitted with all the necessary equipment and taken out into the field. |

| WEEK ONE |
• Meet with primary therapist for assessment and initiation of treatment plan |
| • Learning basic camp-craft and primitive camping skills |
| • Demonstrating that they can be safe and that they are willing to begin to be accountable, self evaluation |
| • Hiking, and backcountry travel |
• Receive accountability letter from parents |

| WEEK TWO |
• Demonstrating a clear understanding of outdoor skills: bow-drilling a fire, drinking and eating enough food, effectively using a map and compass |
| • Following through with curriculum and therapeutic assignment given by primary therapist |
| • Responding to the initial letter and being accountable for past actions. |
| • If a participant is not fulfilling the program requirements they will stay working on the aforementioned tasks. |

| WEEK THREE |
• Participating in an adventure activity: rafting, canoeing, or canyonering |
| • Demonstrating desire to create change and increased self esteem |
| • Continued one on one and group therapy |
| • Therapeutic focus on teamwork and being a healthy family/community member |

| WEEK FOUR |
• Participating in an adventure activity: rafting, canoeing, or canyonering |
| • Demonstrating ability to create change and increased self esteem |
| • Continued one on one and group therapy |
| • Therapeutic focus on teamwork and being a healthy family/community member |

| WEEK FIVE |
• Participating in an adventure activity: rockclimbing or rappelling |
| • Having taken accountability of their past actions and demonstrated that they can function as a healthy and productive team member, the participant now focuses on the challenge of facing ones fears and addresses realistic changes that must occur at home. |
| • One on one and group therapy focused on facing unhealthy fears |

| WEEK SIX |
• Participant returns to primitive camping area used during the initial 2 weeks |
• They prepare for the next step and design their graduation
Graduation |
| • The family will participate in a 3-day family adventure program. The family members will be led by the graduating student through selected elements of the program. |
| • Family therapy sessions and preparation for transition. |
