FOOTGEAR: (Can be provided by WO)
A sturdy pair of well broken in hiking boots is essential. You should wear your boots a minimum of two weeks prior to your trip to break them in. In addition to your boots, bring one pair of lightweight and quick-drying sneakers to cross streams on the trail, to swim in waterfalls and streams and to relax in. You might also want a pair of sandals or Crocs for airing out your feet after long days of hiking in boots. If you choose to bring only one pair of additional shoes, you should bring sneakers. Please note that this is a challenging extended hiking trip and that sturdy, well broken in hiking boots are essential. |
